ifc certificate requirements:

Successful completion of the following:

  1. Who is God? Introduction to Theology (3 credit hours)

  2. Who am I? The Human Person (3 credit hours)

  3. Who is My Neighbor? Family, Civic Life and the Just Society (3 credit hours)

  4. How Should I Live? General Ethics (3 credit hours)

  5. At least two seminars

  6. Participation in at least one trip/pilgrimage

  7. Capstone Paper or Project (to be determined in conversation with Prof. Kirk or Dr. Murray)

WHAT IS THE IFC CERTIFICATE?

The IFC Certificate signifies that a student has completed the program of studies at the St. Lawrence Institute for Faith and Culture.

how long does it take to complete?

The program can be completed in 4 semesters if desired, but the pace of completion is open to the student’s preference and availability and can be spread out over the course of a student’s studies at KU.

do i have to take courses in a particular order?

No! Take them in the order of your interest and availability. The courses are meant to be integrated and complement one another, but there is no set order.
